New England Weather and Tides

We've provided some links to allow you to quickly connect to the official New England weather and tides information for your area. Since conditions are changeable, we highly advise that you have a VHS radio on board for local weather updates.

It's always a good idea to have an up-to-date nautical map and GPS device that covers your planned course and details for launching and landing your vessel.

National Weather Service graphical map of New England gives you hourly conditions including wind speed and direction. Click on graphics or links.

NOAA Home Page provides access to a host of related nautical information including updates on the 2008 hurricane season.
